The terms of using Athletic Advantage

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Athletic Advantage — the website console or the mobile app — you agree to these terms. If you're accepting on behalf of a school, you confirm you have authority to do so.
2. What Athletic Advantage is
A wellness, recovery, and development platform for school athletic programs: daily check-ins, workload monitoring, recovery and strength programs, individual development plans, and team communication tools for coaches and athletes.
It is not a medical service.
Nothing in the product is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. See our Wellness Data Policy for what "wellness data" does and doesn't mean.
3. Accounts and roles
A school signs up and creates the initial admin account. Admins invite coaches. Coaches invite athletes via a join code. Each role sees only what its permissions allow — see our Privacy Policy §5 for exactly how access is scoped.
Athletes under 18 require a parent or guardian's recorded consent before their account can collect wellness data — see Parental Consent.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: share your login with anyone else, use the platform to harass or bully another user, attempt to access data outside your role's permissions, or use team/direct messaging for anything unrelated to athletic program communication. Schools can disable messaging for their program entirely on request.
5. Who owns the data
Your school owns the data collected through its program. We act as a processor on the school's behalf — we don't sell it, use it for advertising, or repurpose it beyond operating the service.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans and billing terms will be published here once payment processing is live. Until then, no plan on this site is being charged.
7. Termination
A school can cancel at any time; we'll agree a data export and deletion timeline as part of offboarding. We may suspend an account that violates these terms or puts other users' data at risk, and will tell the affected school why.
8. Limitation of liability
Athletic Advantage is a support tool for coaches, not a substitute for professional medical judgement. We're not liable for decisions made based on in-app signals, or for injuries that occur regardless of what the platform showed. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.
9. Changes to these terms
If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and notify school admins.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
